The Cluster Munition Coalition were awarded the peace prize in recognition of their campaign to outlaw the use of cluster bombs. The Cluster Munition Coalition is a global civil society campaign working to eradicate cluster munitions, prevent further causalities and put an end to the suffering caused by these weapons.
